ANNIE EVANS

Annie first joined Rogue Co. in 2014 while completing her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has since performed with several local dance companies, including Boulder Jazz Dance Collective, IDA, and Schiff Dance Collective, and currently teaches at numerous studios across Colorado.

Annie grew up as a competitive dancer, where she developed a strong technical foundation and benefited from the opportunities provided by dance conventions. Following her graduation from Boulder, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a dance career. There, she trained with internationally recognized instructors and signed with Go 2 Talent agency. Despite these professional opportunities, Annie ultimately found the environment misaligned with her long-term artistic goals and returned to Colorado. Her move to Denver marked a period of renewed artistic growth and meaningful engagement within the local dance community.

Annie’s artistic practice is grounded in the belief that dance serves as a vital mode of human connection. Her movement approach is investigative and expressive, supported by a strong technical framework. Outside of her dance practice, Annie spends time engaging with the natural environment, which continues to inform and inspire her artistic perspective.
