HANNAH LARSON, assistant director
Hannah Larson is a dancer, teacher and choreographer in Colorado. She is originally from Houston, Texas and began her training at Rowland School of Ballet. From a young age, she studied ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. She trained with the pre-professional companies, Kingwood Dance Theatre and Kingwood Jazz & Co.
She graduated summa cum laude from University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance, and a BA in Information Science and Arts. During her time at UA she worked with choreographers such as Sherry Zuncker of River North, Tammy Dyke-Compton, Sam Watson, Michael Williams, Douglas Nielsen, and Elizabeth George. During her time as an undergraduate, she joined Art.If.Act Dance Project in “The Great American Dance Tour of China”. In 2016 she was chosen as a presenter for the Young Choreographer’s Festival in New York City.
Upon moving to Colorado, Hannah joined The Schiff Dance Collective for two years. Now she is a sought after contemporary teacher and choreographer in the Boulder / Denver area. Currently she is a member of Rogue Co. and teaches at Grace Studios. Hannah is currently on faculty at the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop and dances with the Boulder Jazz Dance Collective. She strives to pass on her passions for dance, choreography, and music to each student she teaches.
