MEGHAN LAWITZ, OWNER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Meghan Lawitz is the Artistic Director and Founder of the Denver-based, professional contemporary dance company, Rogue Co. Originally from Arizona, Meghan has established a strong foundation in the Colorado community as a dancer, choreographer and educator over the past 17 years. Before founding Rogue Co, she was the Co-Director/Choreographer for the Damsels Contemporary Dance Company. Meghan has been a guest artist for Soul De Soul Dance Convention, United We Dance, You See These Moves, Releve Dance Competition, PUSH, The Block Party, Murmuration, St. Michael’s College and Denver School of the Arts. She has toured with DMC China International and has worked for Varsity, UDA Mile High Dance Championships, The Groove Experience and the ICU World Cheerleading Championships. Meghan also currently dances with Boulder Jazz Dance Collective and is on faculty with Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop.

 

With a deep appreciation of movement that expands upon the strength and vulnerability of storytelling, Meghan's work explores the shared experiences that make us human and aims to create and hold space for meaningful connection and dialogue.​​
