ANNIE ROBERTSON

 

Annie Robertson grew up in southern Georgia, dancing on the beaches before she could walk. She trained in ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and musical theater and competed in many different styles.  After graduating from high school, she moved to Boulder, CO to attend the University of Colorado. She studied Ecological and Evolutionary Biology, but she did not leave her passion for dance behind. Annie joined The Schiff Dance Collective and was with them for two years. In her last year at college she also joined the professional dance company Rogue Co. She then moved to Los Angeles to expand her knowledge and career in the world of dance. Annie soon realized that the mountains were calling her back, and the L.A. city life wasn't for her. She recently moved to Denver this past fall and is immersed in dance all throughout the area. Annie professionally dances with The Schiff Dance Collective, Rogue Co., and Industrial Dance Alliance, as well as teaching at Streetside Dance Studios, Belliston Academy of Ballet, and Millennium Dance Complex. Annie hopes to challenge and inspire her students to carry lessons of communication and unity from the class out into the world.
